Tips for concert going

We are playing a show tonight, and I don’t know if we have ever been this prepared for a show. Ever. Maybe it’s the fact that we took so much time off to work on our live set, or maybe it’s that we have been playing some pretty long sets lately and we just chose the best songs to do tonight, but whatever it is, we are super prepared and sounding pretty damn good. This will be our first Hollywood show, probably the farthest that we have ventured out to play (if not in miles, then in commute time for sure) and we have put a ton of effort in to make this as fun as possible for you, our adoring fans. Thank you! I mean it, seriously, thank you. And since the adoration goes both ways(we’re not just another one-way street, you know) Zack and I have compiled a short, but to the point, list of things that we believe will make your concert going experience, especially our concerts, a much more enjoyable one…
First off, carpool. Its good for the environment and the soul. Think of going to one of our shows like a mini road trip…honestly, who doesn’t love road trips.
Secondly, don’t be afraid to be yourself. Get up and dance or start to sing when the moment hits you…other will join, trust me, this is a time tested theory.
Thirdly, if you are afraid to be yourself, wear a costume. Any old costume will do. We played a costume party not to long ago and it was one hell of a fun night. (If anyone asks why you’re in costume, just say “what, you didn’t get the email,” then they’ll feel like they’re the one who’s missing out.)
Next, for now, lets leave the pyrotechnics at home. I know, I know, but the venues seem to have some sort of issue with them, we’ll keep you posted as to when their policies change.
Finally, tell two friends about it. If you tell to friends, and then they tell two friends and so on, think about what a giant party all this show going will be. You will be able to start carpooling in buses with everyone dancing and singing possibly in costumes! Wow, makes me all giddy just thinking about it!
I’ll see you out tonight,
Andy
